Inspired by the wide-open spaces of the southwest, this small crock/planter (without hole) features a large sun setting over a collection of cacti and shrub brush in perched atop near and distant hills. It is an homage to the beautifully harsh and raw corner of the world which is full of life despite its desolate appearance. The darker-toned steely turquoise glaze captures the last few moments of sunlight before the temperatures drop and the cold desert night begins.
These small crocks are perfect for a variety of uses! We use ours for soup bowls or serving bowls for dip and others as planters (no holes) or as catch all bowls to keep the counters organized
